Editorial and Evidence Policy
This policy defines what a HealthyFitLine page must prove before we ask readers or search engines to trust it.
Who creates the content
HealthyFitLine is published by an editorial team. A general editorial byline does not imply that a doctor wrote or reviewed the article. When clinical review occurs, the page must name the reviewer, list relevant credentials and scope, link to a profile, and show the review date.
Evidence standard
Health claims must link to the source that supports them. We prefer current clinical guidelines, systematic reviews, government health agencies, and relevant peer-reviewed human research. A citation must support the specific claim, population, dose, and outcome described; a link alone is not enough.
How we describe certainty
We distinguish association from causation, laboratory findings from human outcomes, and early evidence from established guidance. We avoid guaranteed results, cure language, fear-based claims, invented precision, and implying that one study settles a question.
High-risk topics
Pages about symptoms, medicines, hormone therapy, supplements, weight loss, mental health, pregnancy, eating disorders, injuries, or interactions require added safety context. They must explain who should seek individual care and must not provide a personalised diagnosis or treatment plan.
AI and editorial responsibility
Tools may help organise notes or improve clarity, but automation is not an author or medical reviewer. A human editor remains responsible for source verification, original value, conflicts, safety language, and every published claim. We do not mass-publish keyword variants.
Commercial independence
Affiliate and related-brand links are labelled near the recommendation and use sponsored link attributes. Compensation never counts as evidence. Product content must state selection criteria, material limitations, and conflicts; unsupported recommendations are removed or kept out of search pending review.
Updates and corrections
We change a modified date only after a substantive review. Material corrections are made promptly and should be noted on the page. Readers can report an error by emailing contact@healthyfitline.com with the page URL, disputed passage, and supporting source.
